Thank you for a wonderful 3rd Scandinavian TCM Congress 1st - 4th September 2011
Dear Colleagues of Classic and Traditional Chinese Medicine!
We were so happy and pleased to see you all, and we really enjoyed spending time with you at the 3rd Scandinavian TCM Congress 2011 in Slettestrand.
During four days, more than 200 participants, primarily from Denmark, the other Scandinavian countries and the rest of Europe created a warm, lively and open atmosphere.
The participants benefited from the pre-congress workshops and from wonderful daily lectures with internationally acknowledged teachers, who shared a variety of information on the congress topic: Chinese Medicine and the Fertile Spirit; Childhood, Nourishment and Long Life.
But we must not forget the fantastic quigong and yoga classes each morning and evening, which helped the participants unwind and relax, nor the music events with Peter Firebrace and friends or the Supreme Congress Party.
It was a pleasure, as well, to see the great and appetizing dishes for the vegetarians, and we wish to give special thanks to Rønne's Hotel for inviting the marvelous vegetarian chef. I am sure that it was not just the vegetarians, who enjoyed the delicious food.
We are so grateful that both national and international teachers offer to share their knowledge and inspire us all on this high level in the field of Chinese Medicine. It is possible for each and every participant to find something that fits precisely to his or her daily work in the clinic.
Once again, we enjoyed a wide rage of products and interesting news at the congress exhibition, and personally we enjoy getting to know the people behind our supplying companies.
Master training with Yair Maimon
We look forward to the Master Training Trilogy with Yair Maimon in the first weekend of September 2012. The Master Training Trilogy is built around the themes Po, Hun and Shen. The first time we meet, we will dig deep into Po, the spirit of the lungs, together with Yair and a specially invited guest lecturer.
We will give you more information in the next newsletters, so stay tuned and we look forward to giving more detailed info about this event, which takes place only in Denmark
The Golden Needle Award
The Golden Needle Award is given to someone who has made a positive difference for the enrichment of the Danish acupuncture society.Once again it was presented during the Scandinavian TCM Congress, and this time the recipient was Birte Nilsen (Chairman of PA). The Acupuncture Academy has instituted the award with the criteria that the recipient should have made an extraordinary contribution to the decevelopment of acupuncture in Denmark to the extent that it could be said that the acupuncture community in Denmark is no longer the same.
